Homework/Reading Logs Info

Homework: There will be homework given Monday through Thursday. These packets will be given every Monday and need to be completed on a daily basis. Parents must initial the homework cover sheet daily. This is also where your child's daily behavior will be communicated! Homework is given to reinforce concepts taught in class. Your child will receive a grade for his/her homework, so please remind your child to complete and return homework daily. Homework will be worth 10% of the grade in every subject area. If you have a note, question, concern, etc, then you may attach it here, in the homework folder.

Reading logs: Reading logs are part of the homework packets. Students must read for 20 minutes daily with an adult. This helps students reach their AR goals and improves their reading fluency. Parents must fill in the title of the book and initial. When students take AR quizzes, then I can refer to the reading log and easily find the title of the book if the student needs assistance.
